Redesign of a wartime cookery book written by Vicomte de Mauduit and republished by Persephone Books. This personal project served as an exercise in classifying and organizing various information and text, from notes on the biodiversity of a terrain, to descriptions of particular foods and blocks of simple recipes. The style and color palette was chosen to offer a contemporary look to this classic and allow it to become, in equal parts, a cookbook and an adventure guide.

All illustrations are original and were created by me to complement the contents of the text and photographs. Photographs courtesy of (in order of appearance): Annie Spratt, Illiya Vjestica, Nick Wood, and Irina Iriser.
